About TGMEPMA

The Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA) was established through G.O Ms No. 414, dated June 4, 2007, to devise and implement strategies for urban poverty reduction programs across Telangana. MEPMA operates as a society registered under the AP Societies Registration Act (No: 1120/2007) on July 10, 2007.

Vision

To build inclusive, safe, and resilient urban communities in Telangana by empowering street vendors and urban homeless through access to dignified livelihoods, secure shelters, social protection, and integration into the urban economy—ensuring their rights, well-being, and active participation in the city's growth and governance.

Mission

To identify, support, and empower street vendors and urban homeless through inclusive policies, livelihood promotion, access to secure shelters, skill development, and financial and social services—ensuring their integration into mainstream urban development and improving their quality of life with dignity and security.
